“I don’t do any networking – it’s just not me”
“Blogs? I’d never know what to write about”
“Social Media? Yeh, I’ve got a Facebook Page”
Oh yes, I’ve heard them all! Which is why I’ve come up with the idea of men-TAO-ring – 10 hours, split over 5 x 2 hour sessions looking at the fundamental elements of your social media, your blogging habits (or lack of!) and how networking can really take your business to the next level.
Getting the basics right – such as your profile, your content – even which social networks you’re spending your valuable time on, can have a massive impact on how your audience perceive you. Your social media platforms act as your online shop window (alongside your website) – so why risk a bad window display? We’ll also look at your social media strategy, how to engage and how to save time by scheduling your posts.
I created my first blog site back in 2011 before I started Tao – mainly musings on life. Then when Tao came along, I realised how blogging could help my business and add depth and character to my website. Fast forward 7 years and I now write blogs and newsletters for clients. Believe me when I say if I can do it, almost anyone can!
Once you get into the swing of blogging, you will have original content for your social media posts. Over the ten hours of mentoring you will create a list of topics to blog about and use on your social posts.
If you’re not networking, you’re missing a trick. My biggest frustration is the business owner who “went networking once and didn’t get anything, so didn’t bother again”. There are so many different types of networking group, different ways to get your point across and be memorable, little tips and hacks that can help you leave your mark on a group – and if you’re not in the room to start with, none of that is going to happen.
If the idea of men-TAO-ring floats your boat, let’s talk.
